extremely rude 'Karen' working in small claims court. Now I've seen enough Karen videos on YouTube to recognize if I run into one. Unfortunately, it happened to be the one at this place. You know it's not going to be a pleasant experience, when you are a person of color and you're eye to eye with a middle age white woman with a hint of subtle racism, who greets you with a 'yes?' No hello, no how are you, nothing. This is not surprising when you are dealing with a Karen so I ignored it. However, what started bothering me was her explicitly insulting and completely unhelpful attitude despite me trying my best to cooperate. Her attitude was hostile from the beginning. She was dismissive of my concerns. She would not even listen to what I had to say, kept cutting me off, was overly suspicious of everything I said, even ridiculed me for not knowing all the laws. It's like a cancer patient going to a doctor and doctor making fun of the patient for not knowing how cancer is treated. Lady, I am going through a court process, you work at the court, I'm here to ask some questions, the least you can do is do your JOB to answer questions that people have. Your job is not yell at them for asking question or roll your eyes or be passive aggressive for asking simple questions that you clearly have the answers to but do not wish to give easily because you think you working at a court makes you a some big shot and you can just intimidate people, shamelessly ridicule them for trying to navigate the court process. Shame on you. It's ironic how they have all these signs everywhere 'be kind' ' be polite to the staff' but the staff can literally act like hostile tyrants and we just have to put up with that. I ask that the racist staff at this location go through mandatory diversity training. Clearly, any diversity lessons taught to them have been long forgotten. She obviously had an issue with my race. I can 100% bet right now, her attitude would have been completely different if I was white blonde woman instead. The only pleasant encounter was surprisingly the cops at the entrance who greeted me nicely and directed me to the small claims court. Little, did I know I was walking into the Karen's lair. It's also a very dark dingy room that can make you feel really claustrophobic. Just a heads up.

I know you guys deal with so many different people whole day, whole week, whole month. Patience is the key.

I called in today to get some information. I spoke to a woman named Rosemary, and she was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond while answering my questions, and I left the call with information that I didn't even know I needed Just wanted to make sure I gave this lovely lady some credit!

Very disappointed after learning members of the justice/law where members of a biker gang. Walked out.

The people at this court are most courteous and professional.

What a farce Canada is. A laughing stock.
