Welcome to heaven! I love this place so much, I almost don’t want to share it. It’s a smaller place, yet we had our own little room. I don’t even have the words to express how wonderful this place is. The staff there could not be better. Our food was so good. We had the pulled port sliders, a vegetarian stir fry we tofu that tasted like pure deliciousness. Little shop with awesome stuff. So very great. Hi David!!!
I tried the combo plate and laulau plate. All the meats and sides were good. I prefer stuff a little more salted but there's hot chili and pink salt on the side of the laulau plate which helped everything. The coconut cake had a good flavor but was dry maybe because it is gluten free. Will try out their other desserts that looked good next time!
I have heard such good things about this place and has to try it. It looked amazing like all other pics but I was kind of let down…… the Kalua pig was good, and the rice was too! The shredded chicken was okay but the seaweed salad and macaroni salad were bad…… seaweed salad was chewy and crunchy at the same time, honestly inedible and I love seaweed salad—hence why I paid $2 more for it. The macaroni/potato salad was as bland as bland can get. And idk what the oily/sauce was for by there was no ascertainable flavor in it… The sides were the main letdown… the meat was decent! But this isn’t a place that’s going to be in my normal rotation of places. :/
Its my first time here. Staff are friendly and the good service is quick. The food is delicious. Recommend trying their specials.
The food is absolutely delicious. Such big portions for a great price. You can tell that they care about the ingredients and the process of cooking the food. We met the chef and it was great to hear about his background. The service was amazing, such nice people. You have to try their food!!!
We always have a wonderful experience at Ono! Meals are ample and delicious, with a nice selection of specials each day. If you're looking for a private dining experience, this is probably not the place for you, but that's part of the appeal! It feels like eating at a relatives dining room and everyone who passes through is friendly. As a bonus, the Uncles still remember us from catering our wedding several years ago. It wasn't a very big affair, so it's a pleasant surprise!
My husband and I just had the King Kamehameha meal. It is both an excellent value and extremely tasty. We are full and have enough leftovers for dinner tomorrow night! We love the unique flavors and the meal was packed very well to-go. Absolutely terrific. Thank you Ono Kine Grindz!
Absolutely fantastic food, awesome selection of Hawaiian groceries, and super friendly service. One of my favorite places to eat when I'm on that side of town. The garlic shrimp is especially good.Food: 5/5
It's easy to miss this gem, so it is worth giving it the create it deserves. The food was incredible, and that is an understatement. The quality of the food was spectacular and the juice options were oversized to true enjoyment. Next time in the area, I will be stopping by again.
Amazing all around. We got The Kamehameha Platter that provided a nice variety. Highly recommend ! Everything was so delicious. They are so friendly and the store is super cool. Our new favorite restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.
