When I applied for my loan and approved I was offered some of their insurances. Knowing I was going to be out with a total knee replacement I took the Disability Insurance. This insurance is supposed to cover your loan payment in the case you have lost your job, unable to work because you are hospitalized, and etc. While I was out I filed the claim for disability. I was denied because I didn’t work 30 hours. How are you supposed to work 30 hours if you are hospitalized. They said I was denied because I answered no to the question, are you working 30 hours or more? Let’s see. I am hospitalized, I cannot work, why yes my answer would be no. The folks at One Main sell you on the insurance but it’s a joke. They are just sucking you in for more money. Do not get a loan from these people, they are not honest lenders.

Worst customer service ever. Sandy is the rudest person I have ever spoke to in a professional setting. She even huffed at me several times and I could tell by her voice she didn't want to talk to me. She acted like everything I was asking was not her problem and even hung up on me. I will never do business with them again! Thanks for making this last week hell!!
