I'm sitting here with my wife and our newborn in the labor and delivery center and had to write a review. This is our second baby born at Oneida Health, and we couldn't be happier. My wife and child were treated so positively. I can't say enough good things about the nurses and doctors here. We didn't feel like a burden and had a long talk with one of the consultants about her family and our own which is really neat, and so naturally personable. Just felt so calming, these nurses and doctors love what they do. So thankful.

While visiting Turning Stone resort, a customer needed emergency care. The ambulance brought her to Oneida Hospital. The care and staff was excellent! Dr. Black, Nurses Christina and Donna were attentive and compassionate. Thanks to all.

My mother came in by ambulance for a back injury due to a fall. She was in a lot of pain and couldn’t move much at all. They had her trying to sit up and were shaking her hips to make sure nothing was broken. After yelling in pain they said they were going to order a CTscan of her spine. I don’t know what they did, but they said that the test showed nothing. They then proceeded to tell her they needed to see if she could walk, which she couldn’t, because they wouldn’t be able to admit her sense the scan showed nothing and do to insurance issues. It wasn’t until the next morning when another doctor came in and didn’t like the amount of pain that she was in and ordered another scan which revealed a fracture in her back leading to a transfer to Upstate, where they concluded that she had an unstable fracture in her T-10 vertebrae and a small fracture in her neck which has led to surgery with screws and rods being inserted. But you guys were going send her home. Not very thorough on your end. Thankful for doctor that ordered the second scan the next morning

Worst hospital I’ve ever been to my entire life. I have outstanding credit without sending me a single bell, a single phone call, or any notification they sent my bill to a debt collector, when I was automatically set up with auto pay through THEIR OWN SYSTEM!! Absolutely ridiculous, and they are unwilling to help. Do not bring anyone you know to this place it is a complete nightmare. Let alone the hospital itself is dirty smelly and disgusting and the staff are all MISERABLE

One thing I will say is I’m not happy at all with Oneida hospital we went there at 12:00 am on Sunday. I had told them Everthing that was going on with my baby. I had videos to prove it all not to mention we waited in the waiting room for almost 2 hours. He ran a fever while there and they told me that they arnt concerned with anything even got yelled at Bc I told them I didn’t feel comfortable with leaving at all. THANK GOSH I went with my mom gut and took him to upstate after leaving Oneida hospital at 9:00 am. Bc not only were they super concerned for my baby but they also had to admit him due to how bad it is. I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO ONEIDA HOSPITAL AGAIN I do not care my baby is 7 weeks old the moment I told you that he’s breathing really hard you should of done everything in your power to try and help him I will 100 percent be calling Oneida hospital..

Awful experience with staff, my girlfriend was in for an endoscopy and was waiting on procedure. While waiting the nurse came in and yelled at her then proceeded to throw my girlfriends purse at her bc it was on the floor but doctor saw it there and had no problem with it. I would not recommend coming here for anything bc they are filled with a bunch snotty staff who don't wanna have empathy for their patients 0/5 review from me

I would give zero if I could. I got here at just before 10 it's not 1.25 and I just walked out after sitting in a room in tears for over 3 hrs because I have a bullet in my back from an old shooting that shifted and put me in so much pain I can barely move. I could hear the nurses when I asked how much longer say just ignore her when all I did was explain how much pain I am in. This is and always will be nothing but a glorified band aid station and it's why us locals HATE coming here.

The care from the staff and PA was accurate. Cleanliness, poor. What was the absolute shock factor,... Was the $800.00 bag of dextrose! My husband had no accident, no life threatening issues, no dehydration. A bag was hung and sat unused. Kvo- keep vien openit was not utilized for labs , nor meds, nor contrast. 5.5 - 6 hours later, we left with a clean bill of health . The Bill....... $800.00 for an unnecessary bag of dextrose. Our Insurance company agreed that it was an excessive amount and recommended a review. Please, check your bills! The money grab is exorbitant and the Oneida Heath Care Center is betting on you not looking or inquiring about the cost. Our bill is now under review. The representative stated... "You have to pay for technique." It costs to walk in the door for the technique and knowledge we as patrons understand that.What we don't understand is that everything can't be that astronomical in price. We were charged more for the bag of sugar water $800.00 than we paid for the Physician' s Assistant...... How is that NOT price gouging. Please look at your bills ! The Jones Family

Dr. Gibbs and Amber are amazing! Justine also! They made me feel very comfortable during my procedure this week and last week. Radiology Truly wonderful team!!!!

My mother was just recently there when calling and asking how she was doing was told nurse will call you back. I called for 3 hours straight on the hour to no avail. The room she was in during her stay in the er was 60 and pumping absolutely no heat into the room but cold air instead. No one could fix that problem over the course of 3 days. I tried to remedy it by taping a pillow case over the duct for room to deflect as much as I could. As per the filtration system to help keep Covid down was disgusting and inoperable. Will attach photos. When I got there to pick her up the nurse was still unable to give me any information about vitals and temps or anything. She started there with infection pump with antibiotics but no where on discharge paperwork and indication of infection. Also still awaiting a callback from nursing supervisor. BEWARE.WOULD LOVE TO GIVE LESS THAN ONE STAR BUT NOT AN OPTION.
