Oneida County DMV Office

Located inside the Utica train station, the Utica DMV is historic and fits in well with the downtown renovations. If you get there when they open, the lines aren’t bad and the staff is friendly.

All the staff we interacted with were incredibly helpful and friendly. It was a really smooth experience, got right in and out. Better than a lot of other dmv experiences I’ve had in another state.

Very RUDE staff, from the second i walked in every staff member i’ve approached or approached me was nasty for no reason. Snatching the paper from my fathers hand and cutting us off when explaining why were there. You can’t go in being friendly because you’re gonna walk out as miserable as their staff!

Today I went to the Utica DMV,I was greeted by a friendly officer and quickly and easily finished my transaction.The train station is so unique and beautiful.A 1920's delight and preserve Ed so well.As a native Utican I felt so proud.Good job NY , utilizing that great space,you made my day!

This place is kind of slummy. It's like a courthouse now with a walk through metal detector and 2 officers positioned at the entrance. Feels like you're at a TSA checkpoint.
