This is a great place to take your dog for a swim. Lots of space to run around and frolic in the water. This is one of the only off leash zones in the area but people seem to be pretty relaxed if your dog is off leash on the nearby trails. Poop bags and a garbage bin are conveniently located at the doggie beach.
The water is gross.... there are so many lakes in BC that are clear and prestine. Dog park is actually on the other side of the main beach and not really good for the humans to relax at and it is a good 10 min walk along the board walk
Nice park; better than i expected. Boardwalk was cool and walk back on the south side of the lake was beautiful and quite different from the north side. Worth a stop and short hike - especially if you’ve got a pup with you
Easy, stroller accessible trail leading to a beautiful lake.There is also an easy loop trail going around the lake as well.
