Amazing food, and amazing service! I tried a bit of everything with the stewed pork and it was all sooo good. Can't wait to go back and try something new next time!
This. Is. A. Must. Go! The food Rasta pasta, jerk pork, goat curry, plantains was delicious! And you get a lot...and I mean a LOT of food! Tracy and her husband are the owners/operators and it was wonderful spending a few minutes with them! I loved this place so much that I marked it as a "favorite" in my maps so we can visit on the way home.
I heard about this place the other day and decided to try it. All I can say is hands down AMAZING FOOD!! Everything was cooked very well! Such great flavors! I will definitely be making this my go to place! Great portions for the price! You can taste the love that went into making it! This is a must try place!! Keep up the great work!
Let me start by saying Brockville is blessed to have such a shop with a man who truly loves to cook. I have been trying to eat here for a minute, and my schedule and their has finally aligned. I had the pleasure of eating the Jerk poutine. The flavour was like none other than I've had before. The smoked jerk chicken on the poutine was mouth watering. Fries cooked to perfection, with more curd then I had seen in most poutines. This was a big meal, took me almost two sittings too eat all. This was an amazing dish and can't wait to try many other dishes. This is authentic as it gets. I'd say he could make money selling his jerk sauces as well as they are unlike others I have tasted. Bring a big appetite, these dishes are big. Look forward to our next visit. See you soon!!! Kid-friendliness: Something for everyone Parking: Tons of parking at the plaza.
Great food cooked the island way. Blessed my Mom for her 83rd birthday. Food served like home. She loved it and she loved Clint!
First off, the service was absolutely impeccable! The lady was beyond kind and helpful as it was my first time ordering. My friend and I tried the fried chicken and the jerk pork. Both meats were very good but that pork, no joke was to diiiiiiiiie for. A little fattier than I would have liked but I didn't even care with how tender the pork was. The sides were all yummy and the rasta pasta was also super good. She gave us a tip to pour a little of the spicy gravy onto it and she was not wrong. Will definitely be going back!
Really nice owner and cute cozy eat-in and takeout options. Absolutely delicious food with bright flavours. Loved the goat curry, try the Pumpkin rice and oh my goodness the hand batter rolls for dipping are amazing.
Food was fantastic!!...had the jerk pork+ jerk chicken combos + the super delicious soup...all excellent! Can't wait to try this place again! Owners are super friendly and engaging...thank you so much for a great takeout meal!!Food: 5/5
Best jerk chicken I've ever had, we stopped here from Montreal. A+ will definitely come again highly recommend! Owner is super friendly too
I love the people who run this place and cook the food. I am so pleased to see Brockville appears to be embracing another cuisine, as the town itself has been unwelcoming to most things aside from pizza and burgers. Yes, I know there are Thai and Indian restaurants that have managed, but that is actually comparatively recent! Vietnamese is long gone. But let's get back to One Love. Oxtail along with saltfish and eggs are all Jamaican Staples, and fore most people from the island those tastes takes them back to their Grandma's kitchen. One Love doesn't do saltfish, and they never seem to be serving oxtail whenever I visit. Jerk chicken, which is done wet style is my favorite of their classics. Chicken done in brown will be begging for pepper sauce, but the molasses browning taste will make you want more. Shrimp curry is good quality but frankly dull. Happy to see a food alternative in Brockville; don't let One Love slip away!
