The coffee was good but the brownie and lemon loaf were stale. They might be frozen or something like that. The plastic fork couldn't cut it. I also feel sugar in each bite. I didn't enjoy eating them. No complaints on the coffee itself.
Gordon went out of his way to make sure my friend had a fantastic birthday coffee. He made her this delicious Christmas in a cup ice latte and she LOVED IT. 10/10 for Gordon! He met- no, nay- exceeded! Our expectations for after cocktails-iced-coffee. Second cup? I could stay for a third and fourth! Thanks Gordon, you’re wonderful.
Not the first time that I order something new from the menu and get something totally different the new cotton candy drink on the menu vs reality. And I paid 8$ for just a whip cream shake. Also wifi is very slow PS: Staff are super friendly
Product is good, so the staff knows what they are doing in fashioning drinks. Their people skills are pretty horrible though. Been by twice this week and both times the guys behind the counter seem completely disinterested and are sleepwalking through their duties, making you feel like a bit of a nuisance to them. It’s not like their aren’t other options nearby Starbucks is right across the street….
Anytime i walk in This place i feel home !! It is the smiling face 7days / week no matter how tired and busy they are for me. The staff are so polite ,considered . just amazing !!! Oh there is a girl there i think her name is Stefany. This girl deserve a raise ,she is a 10.KEEP THE GREAT WORK GUYS.
Lots of options. Unfortunately there new Pistachio Latte and white Hot chocolate was unavailableFood: 4/5
Always understaffed. There’s always a waiting line. Average 10-20 minute wait on weekends. And it’s such a small local store. Had they had any proper Human Resources management and attention to their customer’s needs, that wouldn’t be a problem.
great staff and very friendly lots of seating. great patio in warmer weatherFood: 5/5
This Second Cup repeatedly overcharges for coffee. If you ask for skim milk, there's not supposed to be a surcharge. The barristas ring it in as lactose free skim, and insist it's the same. They know better. They are just ripping customers off. Compare the prices on their app before ordering! Over the course of a day, it really adds up.
Hi - this is the first time I have written a review, ever in my life. I work in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and I still am, so I truly know how important it is to resolve guest unpleasant experience immediately before the guest leaves. Today, I had the most unpleasant experience with one of your staff not the lady - but the tall man I have been going to that location for many many years and I will call myself a true loyal guest. I always purchase coffee with my cakes and always bring my laptop to catch up on some work. And often times, I always purchase secondary coffee and sweets, just to make up for staying a little bit longer than usual. Though, I do not know their names, I know who are staff that usually works during the time I come in. Like I mentioned, I am regular and really enjoy the internet service. Today, I purchase a medium coffee and tipped 70 cents I usually tip and will be doing more purchase later on. But when I got there, the internet was not working and have to ask the other patron if they are on the same boat. I waited till it's a little clear and POLITELY informed the man the internet is not working - he acknowledged it and he told me, yes they are having trouble but he assured me that he will see what he can do for me. I then told him, thank you, but only when you have a chance maybe you could please reboot the computer. I waited on the upper level, and saw that he have an ample chance to take a look at the internet problem. He has someone there. And it also appears that he is just taking his time, moving a slow pace. So I lined up again, and informed him POLITELY maybe he forgot, if you could please check the internet connection - because if there is a problem with it, I would like a refund for my coffee and I'll just go somewhere else. The service and goods that I have been paying for many years. He retaliated with aggressive attitude and raised his voice for the other guest to hear that I want a refund and completely changed his tune, absolutely condescending saying "you know how this works... that we cannot control the internet"....absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL, raising his voice. And he kept repeating the "refund" HUMILIATING me in front of the other patron. I would never forget how I was poorly treated. Yes, it is only a coffee, but my many many years of coming in that locations outweighs the refund that I never ever requested before. There is a lot of things he could have done - call a manager, offer a coffee in the house for the next visit. No resolution was offered, there was no listening and reacted VERY POORLY. I walked out there, and did not engaged the man. It is NOT about the $3 refund. Even though I'm familiar, I still deserved to be treated with respect. From here on, I will be spending my hard earned money somewhere - NOT VERY HAPPY GUEST - POOR GUEST RECOVERY
