Stopped in this Mexican restaurant after touring the area. I was able to sit down without delay and it was pretty busy. The chips were very fresh and warm and the main dish was made perfect. I had the steak and shrimp fajitas which came out quickly.
Food was so fresh. Our waitress was a little slow with service but she was very apologetic and gave us our drinks for free. That's excellent customer service.
We thought the food was good. The hot sauce had a little kick which was nice. The portions seem to be good and prices where about the same as other Mexican restaurant we have been too. We would try again if had the opportunity too
They had really good d fajita's and we called ahead for pick up. The kids did the build your own and they were not skimpy with the fixings. It's just like the On the border in Colorado. So happy to have some reliable Mexican food in Rapid city.
Fun atmosphere. Great Patron margaritas!! Good foods. Great place to meet up with friends.

Sorry South Dakota, but you don't do Tex-Mex. The food was good but not up the On the Border Standards from Texas. The refried beans looked like just pinto beans, however, there was a great flavor of bacon fat. The spice of everything was a little mild as well.
Service was decent. Ranchalidas spelling? Was on point. Fajitas were flavorful. Take home bag of chips was a nice touch.
