Olympus Burger And Donair

I have had Falafal multiple times at other donair places, but their falafel was soft, fresh and most of all perfect with spices. The presentation was class apart and service was par excellence. The owner and his son at Olumpus is so kind and knowledgeable. Their traditional tea and pita chips are so good . Please try them. This will now be our go to place.

A very positive dinning experience last night. My friend Blaine and i told a few of our friends and they went there too. Blaine took me there to thank me for driving him home after he sold his car. The food was great and service was fast. The atmosphere and lighting was also very nice. It is clean and smells like home made bread. You can tell that the owners want to make each dinning experience a joy for the taste buds. I loved the way the food was presented to us, on wooden cutting boards. The only thing i would change is the forks. I suggest they use metal forks instead of plastic forks. It would enhance the already awesome dinner. Just a small detail and just my opinion. To others it likely wouldn't matter. However they do take the time to add happy visual details to each meal. I will return many times. Such nice people and a happy place to dine in or take out. You have to try their falafel....omgoodness....soooo good i got a whole bunch to take home. Yummy... Update: Saturday July 23rd, I ate my last falafel this morning for breakfast / yes --- they are good with Eggs Benedict as well----lol---- I'm going back to get more falafel for next week to share with friends.

I had a donair from Olympus Donair yesterday and it was so delicious I recommend it to everyone. The staff are very friendly and generous.

Been going to this restaurant for many years, the old owner was awesome. He knew every regular customer by name. When he left, the prices got raised and the portion sizes went down. So unfortunately your paying more, for less food. The food is still great quality with good taste. Still my favourite donairs in Edmonton

My Family and I have been eating hear since we came to the community 13 years ago. We have developed a great connection with the staff. Barak and his Family have taken extra care to remember our names and our dishes. Now with his nephews running the restaurant, they have carried the tradition. Hands down the Best Donair in the City! Amazing members of the community. Kid-friendliness: Kids dishes are great and extra care is taken.

I came to eat yesterday with my 4 kids for the first time and I was very impressed with this lovely family owned restaurant. The owner, Ismail, greeted us and was so sweet, ensuring every aspect of our visit was enjoyable. His son was also very attentive and courteous. The poutine we ordered was perfectly delicious from the stretchy cheese to the savoury gravy and perfectly cooked fries. I also ordered a taboule, which the owner makes fresh! It was so good! They pay close attention to detail decorating the salad with romaine lettuce and lemon slices. I will definitely be back! Thank you Ismail and family for the wonderful experience.

A quaint mom and pop shop located in the quiet neighbourhood of Riverbend, Olympus donair exceeded my expectations in both quality and service. The owner is friendly and ready to take your order at a moment’s notice. I ordered the super donair with small fries. I’ve perused many donair shops in the city and can say with confidence this business puts food quality at the forefront. The meat was perfect level of moist, there was just the right amount of sweet sauce many places over do this part, and something about full intact pieces of tomato and lettuce taste better than your typical shaven and cubed pieces most donair places seem to do. Overall, I’ll be coming back to get my donair fix here and recommend you do too!

Great service. Friendly family owned spot with good fresh ingredients. Only complaint I have is the portion sizes are way to small and the donair was somewhat dry because there was almost no sauce on both chicken and beef donairs.Food: 3/5
