Pretty pricey but the quality of goods is excellent and the customer service is great. It’s our favorite place to grocery shop in Sisters. There’s also a sandwich order station in the back! One time we asked the preps to create any kind of sandwich they liked for us and they got such a kick out of making something special. It was a delicious roast beef sandwich!
Local groceries, great grab and go, cute Oregon swag! You can also rent Redbox at this location.
Glad Sisters has this place but definitely don’t enjoy shopping here. The space is tragically small and claustrophobic. “Excuse me,” “I’m sorry,” and “gonna squeeze behind you” are the standard customer exchanges. Too small to think straight, basically. Prices are on par for the inflated Sisters market, which is to say no one comes here to save versus the big Ray’s supermarket nearby, but you will find better quality produce and a wider array of organic and hippy stuff. As a local, I usually end up at Lemon’s whenever the road to Trader Joe’s and Food for Less is lined with more hardship than I’m willing to countenance.
I used to love Melvins. At the moment the prices at this place are out of control. They are simply jacking up prices and offering expensive gourmet options for impulsive tourists. Good for Newport market. Bad for local residents. You can’t blame inflation on these prices.
Great market. Yummy deserts and probably some top 5 sandwiches. Wish they’d stop changing the name though. Bring Melvin’s back!
Nice little store, chock full of local and organic items. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Perfect for a quick stop or if you need something organic and not found in big box stores.
Good selection, friendly service. I do miss their meat pies though.
Best store in Sisters. Vicki and Aaron are always super positive, knowledgeable and helpful. Between them and the great assortment of items, it’s what keeps me and many locals coming back. Thanks guys and gals! Keep up the great work
A lot of nice choices. The Newport store in Bend has many more offerings but it’s really convenient to have Oliver Lemon’s right here in Sisters.
Lots of good organics, sustainable and healthy food. Prices are very competitive to Rays. Wish the staff was a bit more friendly and helpful. There is a good selection, good parking and close to the main drag.
