Oliver’s is a cozy and welcoming coffee shop with a lovely owner, James, who loves his work and is passionate about making connections with his customers. Their beans are roasted at their family’s roaster in Tillbury, and they offer a blend of gorgeous South American beans. The service is awesome and its somewhere where I’ll always want to return to
Stumbled upon this wonderful cafe running errands. The lavender hot chocolate has to be the best I’ve ever tasted. Learnt from the owner about his vision of a 70s inspired atmosphere. So refreshing and the natural light makes this spot perfect for photos. Defs coming back!
It’s a warm, welcoming vibe as soon as you step in at this café just north of Pape/Danforth. James, the owner/barista, is very friendly and makes an incredible coffee that tastes and looks amazing. This is not a surprise considering he has competed in barista championships in Europe. I tried the Café cortado and was impressed with how delicious it was, and the beautiful latte art. They have a number of pastries—I’ve tried their raspberry squares and pain au chocolat and recommend both. Give them a try if you’re in the area.
I stopped by Oliver Coffee Bar by chance and met the owner James. I had the loveliest conversation with him and another guest. It was such a friendly atmosphere and I’m so glad I stumbled upon it while in the area!
After having read a post by Tastetoronto about this new coffee shop in Pape Ave, I came to visit it in a heartbeat. The article didn't lie. I had a wonderful conversation with James, the owner himself, and the "Craic" vibe truly filled the whole shop. It is indeed a micro cafe that would surely create unforgettable micro moments in a cozy space that would allow as well your creative juices to flow and have a productive day. Their cafe au lait and their lemon tart was definitely fire. They have a really good wifi as well. I guess I will definitely be a regular in this cafe.
Cosy, cute and cracking coffee. The owner is knowledgeable, friendly and very inviting. The atmosphere is warm and a lovely spot a short 5 min walk from Pape station. Highly recommend
Great coffee, friendly barista James. Gluten free cookie was delish. Place is delightful
My new favourite, east end, coffee shop. The barista/owner makes the best espresso in the city! The decaf is a must try with orange and cashew notes
Great tea options for a man like me who doesn’t drink coffee. Love the craic and the wide variety of pastries to choose from. James makes you feel right at home as he serves up the goodies! Highly recommend Oliver Coffee Bar!
Delicious americano, amazing flat white. It is a new neighborhood gem! Their GF cookie is a must try. Highly recommend.
