First time coming here and everything was so good!nWe got the Raisin Spice and Orange Pecan cinnamon rolls. They were soft and fresh and I can't wait to try other varieties.nWe also got thee Pumpkin Nanaimo Bar and the Leek & Parmesan Danish - equally delicious.nMy favourite has to be the Tomato Pesto Danish! One of the best pastries I've had on the Island!
I love their savory pies. Their pot pies are heavenly. Filling is packed with savory spices and tender meat. Flaky pastry crust. I’m salivating just thinking about it. They’re well known for their cinnamon buns too. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but I always get their cinnamon buns. This bakery has expanded over the years and every time we stop by, the line gets longer and longer but we don’t mind. Their pastries are worth the wait.
Highly recommended by friends that came here for cinnamon buns, everyday during their stay in the area. What a busy place with nine different varieties of cinnamon bun combinations. We sat at a table, while this bakery filled up and all the tables were full. The line up grew, and counted 15 in the line. Glad we stopped here early and would definitely stop here again.
When you walk in the main street of Ladysmith, you will see lot of people line up in the shop or in the street.nIt's better that you do the take out and dine in seating of the street or Transfer Beach for a picnic.nIf you visit this area, this is the bakery you must go. I enjoy strolling around this small town and grab some baked goods back home. I am a visitor from Vancouver.nThe quality and price are great. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Sometimes, it's hard to make up your mind what you are going to get. I have to remember the names of the baked goods then order and pay in the cashier. I can't order more since I can't recall the names when I am at the cashier.nI am sure I will make a drop by there if I go to a trip again.
What an amazing little gem. If you are reading this you MUST stop here. I’ve never in my life been to a place that does cinnamon buns like this. And we have travelled all over. We got the milk and cookies and the peanut butter cinnamon buns and they were to die for. I was shocked at the reasonable price for what you get. They are massive portions and they give so much toppings. I cannot wait to come back. There is so many items on the menu my husband and I are so excited to try. Also the place was slammed busy. It def lives up to the hype. Highly recommend
