Really cool place to spend a day outdoors with the family. Almost the opposite of an amusement park. Instead of loud, intense, chaos you get a relaxing, peaceful place to walk around and enjoy the day. There is a TON of stuff to see. The food at the main Cafeteria place (I forget the name) was SHOCKINGLY good and very reasonably priced. We fed 5 people for less than 60 bucks if I recall correctly and we all actually enjoyed our food. That NEVER happens at places like this. The food is usually mediocre and overpriced. We will 100 percent be coming back.

This place is incredible. The team who works here are dedicated people. I loved every second and learned so much! And many thanks for honoring veterans day with admitting our families for free!

Beautiful place! It is a good-sized village with dirt paths. Kids can run happily. The costumed interpreters offer excellent information. We really liked watching them work at the forge. If you're in the area, I recommend at least stopping into the Gift shop. It's huge with plenty of books and treats. The day we were there, they hosted a wedding party.

Interesting historical place. Great for kids and adults. Free parking and get there early tho take advantage of shows. Get ready tho spend whole day

A wonderful step back in time. Beautiful grounds and gardens. Knowledgeable staff. Learned so much historical facts. We spent 6 hrs and we just didn't want to leave. Wonderful day.
