We call this Gracie’s an old tavern in historic downtown Frankfort. Summer days sit outside underneath the trees and enjoy being with friends. They cut back hours open and should be managed better but we still love the place for over 50 years going there.
We call this place Gracie’s. Nice place to meet. Right downtown Frankfort next to Old Plank Trail and the shopping area. Not very clean and furniture outside is bad. Cold beer and good conversation is the reason to sit and enjoy.
We had fun. The pool table was actively engaged,; there was a piano for those who could play. 2 jukeboxes, neither of which i was able to use... But that's on me, right,? Attentive, honest bartender. We will return.
For being a brewery their was a very limited selection of house beers. Although our waiter apologized multiple times, it took a long time for our shish-ka-bob appetizer to come out and even longer for our main courses, which were a burger and sandwich to come out. I was disappointed.
It's a friendly bar. Popcorn free and so is pool. Sports on TV.
Great hand packed burgers. Wonderful old building filled with antiques. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Me and my three friends came into this establishment on Saturday at about 3:30 hoping to get drinks and lunch unfortunately since I had only four in my party they didn't want to serve me. If you have a small party I wouldn't go to this place they only like large groups. We started to sit, but the hostess told us they had a reservation at that table, but no sign was listed saying it was reserved at the time. They had seating at the small tables and up at the bar, but the hostess told us unfortunately since they were down two servers they wouldn't be able to accommodate us. In future this restaurant won't be getting my business.
The bartender Debbie was sweet and so friendly..she showed us around the bar there are a lot of cute antiques that are from the era of the bar built in 1855 crowd was also happy and welcoming.
Cozy little tavern. It feels like sitting in a friends living room. Great outdoor area. Beers were cold, bartender was warm. I have to try one of their homemade burgers next time I'm in.
My group of friends will never visit this facility again. We get together and do a workout that takes us down Old Plank Trail and ends at this facility. We’ve done this for years. We were abruptly and rudely told that we didn’t call ahead that we planned to drink at this establishment ahead of time. Didn’t know we had to make a reservation at a hole in the wall bar that is cash only and only serves cheeseburgers and pizza. Sorry, you lost the business of multiple people.
