Every park in our community is starting to look so run down. If it isn't the homeless people, needles all over our play grounds, poor maintenance from our own city.. these places were once so beautiful now.... To regular cars parked, sleeping in their vehicles, or no where to walk due to poop of dogs. Graffiti on the building has not been removed.
This is a lovely spot to have a picnic or just sit and take in the serene view of lock #33. There are very clean bathrooms on site, and the lock staff are super friendly at least the two that we encountered while we were there.nGreat place to take some awesome pics.

I love this park! Great for events, a picnic, hanging out, sitting by the water, kids on the playground and watching wildlife. The old mill is a super cool landmark for the park, great for photos though it’s too bad it’s been tagged up so much. There tends to be a lot of garbage around I wish it was a bit better kept but overall a great park.
Very pretty parknBut a lot a debris from people sleeping in park
