This can be a really cute place after 9AM and on sunny day. I love the vibe but if it’s a bit bigger so that I can have more place to explore as well as take pictures, that would be great.
Lots of little shops to visit. First, we went for breakfast at the Breakfast Nook, which really is such a great place and good meal. Then we went into Kitties and Cream to buy cat toys for Fancy and Awesome. They had cats in for adoption, so we played and petted the fur babies there. That was really a gun adventure.
Love this area. Variety of shops, eateries. We were drawn by the free music on Fridays. I am glad I found this area because I finally found a great cappuccino! White Rabbit Cafe. I will be returning for the music and to try out restaurants and shops.
Super cute collection of boutique and independent shops. Wish there were a bit more historical signage about.
The place had a nice feel to it!nnI went on family day so I wasn't expecting many shops to be open and behold- they WERE NOT open.nnVisit when in Nanaimo, but don't go out of your way to. You'd be better off walking on some nature trail.
