The Okotoks Recreation Centre is home to indoor pools, a hot tub and sauna, a fitness centre, ice arenas, curling rink, youth centre and more!

Story

All facility passes include admission to drop-in skating, swimming and gymnasium times, plus membership to the state-of-the-art Natural High Fitness Centre. Plus access to over 30 weekly dry land and aquatic fitness classes. Admission and pass options include daily rates, 10x pass, 1 month, 3 month or annual pass options. The Rec Centre also offers senior, youth, child, preschool and family pass options and little people under 3 are FREE! This place is great! They do alot of functions for the community and the staff are always nice. Some of the younger/newer Lifeguards can have power trips and publicly shame swimmers. The more seasoned ones have a good bedside manner and explain why they are asking you to do or not do something. Food is really good as well. I love the dry ribs!

Kids play hockey there all winter, clean facility and a nice pool! Concessions has really good food as well!

The Okotoks Recreation center was below par before the renovations and now for the "town" of this size it is extremely lacking. I had 4 children go through skating, swimming, sports and hockey. On the ice side the programs and the facility are slightly above average. The gym/workout area is above average for programs but the space is small. The pool from the programs having lack of space, to the unbearably small changerooms, to the inadequate pool size is absolutely ridiculous considering the property taxes paid by local residents.

The room we used for our meeting was adequate for our purposes. The furniture was comfortable, the room was warm enough, the bathrooms were close. But when you walk in you are faced with a huge, unadorned cement wall - very unappealing, and it is in the basement. From what we were told, the room is used by three different groups throughout the day, from tots to teens, and then us in the evening. At least we had somewhere to meet.

Met and exceeded my expectations in every regard. Clean facility, moderately warm hot tub, great weight room, helpful staff, and cozy open environment to relax in post-workout. Worth the money for sure
