Stopped by Parkville Market while in the area to see what options were available in this food stall style setup. There certainly was quite the variety of styles in the nicely decorated and air conditioned food hall, from Salvadoran, Peruvian, Japanese, Italian, Mexican, and more. The beers on tap were also nice to see. While I didn't love each dish I ordered, overall the experience was solid and I'd for sure recommend a visit.
Very cool old building and lots of food choices. Place was not very crowded. I enjoyed a nice dinner with a group to celebrate an adult birthday. We all got exactly the food we wanted. Then we shared a cake in a semi private room on the second floor. They had music playing and lots of lights.
Finally got to go here with a friend. What a wonderful place to go for food and drink. There seems to be just about every type of cuisine here. There are two bars, one on either end of the hall. This would be a fun venue for lunch or evening out. Parking is tight and you have to watch closely for the entrance. They had poutine!
The quality and diversity of food here is just impressive. Each food stall is a fully unique cuisine and after trying 5 different ones, everything was really delicious and as good or much better than your standard restaurant. Great setup from the design and almost everything was just a 10 min or less wait - will be back again
One of the best hang out spots in Greater Hartford area. And probably the only hangout place that’s open till 12:00 AM. Great and unique selection of food, both indoor and outdoor seating arrangement, open rooms with seating arrangements for big group of friends and family upstairs, huge tables in the lower floor with music, and the outdoor seating arrangements looks so festive at night due to lights, people, music. You get to see many people around which isn’t a common scenario in Hartford area. Huge parking area for free. What else do you need! We love this place!
MY FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT ON EARTH! This place is heaven for anyone who remotely likes food! There are so many great local vendors that change weekly. So many types of food from all over the world makes this place so special. Most of the plates are not huge so you can try several items. There are items to cover any meal and whatever your craving! The venue is so cool with seating and local craftsmen upstairs over looking all of the great food vendors downstairs. There are several food stalls, 2 beer and wine bars, tons of private seating booths, and nightly activities for all to enjoy! All in all, best place on earth! Everyone should visit! 100/10
Fun place to visit, relax, enjoy food from a large variety of cultures, or just have a drink. The restaurant stall lined around a center court with plenty of tables with seating. There is a second floor with additional sectioned off seating as well and another place to buy drinks. Overall, enjoyable experience with lots of good foods.
IN MY WEEK OF DISCOVERY THIS AMAZING PLACE IS NESTLÉD IN HARTFORD !! IN MY OWN BACKYARD! FROM THE MOMENT YOUR NOSE GETS activated by the aroma of varieties of different foods. The markets doors open up to so many different foods !! From Oriental to Southern to Island OR CUBAN dishes! You will stimulated by the ambiance of the picnic table dining or private loft rooms to gather with friends and family very cozy environment. The have a beer and wine and planned events like karaoke or big screens for game nights! You can't beat the price for the experience with so many choices! Family friendly Pure Enjoyment !!
Pros: Fantastic variety of food options which were impressive in flavor and quality. Staff at food locations were helpful and friendly. Wonderful to see what they've done with the space and the overall concept. Cons: The bar situation- almost all bar staff was brand new. This caused a lot of problems with bar staff being unaware of what was even offered on their online menu which we were referred to as well as not having a lot of what was listed on the menu. The prices and pours also changed each time.
Great atmosphere for drinking and eating with friends. Love the seating outdoors when it’s warm out. They have a ton of restaurants to choose once inside. What stands out are the different varieties, whether it’s Peruvian or Brazilian. There’s a little bit of something for everyone at Parkville.
