Probably best for school trips for younger kids. We spent about 30 min there and there was just 1 other family. Very simple, but the staff was nice and they had cute toys in the gift shop. Sadly couldn't access the planetarium as something was stolen from the science centre last year, but other than that great for little kids.
This place of wonder, so much to do, so much to learn. Experiments, shows, exhibits, interactive play, and that gyro chair ride was the cats meow! They have done an outstanding job making all things science, exciting, fresh, and fun for all audiences. We quite enjoy ourselves! The staff is amazing! And knowledgeable. A must go to.

Nice place to spend hours with kids Really affordable price $22 per 2 adults and 1 kid. 2 floors of different expositions and 2 playgrounds.
We brought our nephews here while they were in town visiting and had an amazing experience. They had an absolute blast. However, there was one person from the staff in particular who made the visit extra special. I believe his name was Gordon. He took the time to speak and teach our nephews about some of the displays and other features of the science centre. This little added touch truly made our experience memorable. Thank you. The Okanagan Science Centre is a true gem of the North Okanagan.
Amazingly fun place to go with kids! Staffs are super nice! They have everything things! Great location.
We purchased a family annual pass so we've been a few times. Often times the main exhibit seem to have a number of broken pieces, but this visit they had some new activities upstairs that the kids lived and we saw signs that the star show was operational again so we will definitely be booking a slot to check that out soon.

While not as grand as say Vancouver's Science world Okanagan Science Center has a lot of great things going for it. The gyro chair and the space exhibit were popular with my older kiddos and the main floor play area was heavenly for my toddler. We spent 2 hours there and didn't take in everything there was to see. Well done Vernon!
