So beautiful. Relaxing. Warm water. One of the best places to go, I try to visit every year.
Beautiful beach at the south end of Okanagan Lake. From the SS Sicamous at the west end to the Art Gallery at the east end, with numerous other diversions between. Walk along the promenade, or on the other side of the Avenue, or kick off your sandals and walk on the sand and water.
Wonderful Beach. Great to walk up and down. Try going from coi pond to SS Sicamous. They change the statues and art up every now and then. The beach feels safe fairly late into the night. It's not as insane as some areas of Penticton when the sun goes down like the motel area across from burger king. Tons of great sights on this beach. I have seen eagles flying over. Saw one today as a matter of fact! The beach can very windy so bring a jacket. Plenty of parking.
This is the best to rest for a family trip which you have a lot of time to relax.
Spectacular view. Right on a main street in Penticton, its a calm crowd and the beach spans about 2.5 kilometres. At one end is the hotel and the other is the Sicamous boat. There is a small water park type near the Sicamous and great places to eat along the street.
Lake is beautiful. in many ways, boats on shore to on the lake, the peach is great stop and the view is truely amazing all seasons, Cool biking/walking path, view of pentiction sign, perfect place to be.
The beach itself is great for families with a safe swimming area separating boats from people. Parking can be a challenge so get there early. Bring snacks and plenty to drink as there are no stores that are convenient to walk to. There are some restaurants and a peach kiosk selling simple food and beverages but it can be quite a walk depending on where you set up for the day or however long you plan to stay.
Peach festival going till Aug 10 2019 lots of fun activities for kid and grown ups Always nice to go for a walk at the Okanagan Lake They have all the water sport activities including seedoo to boat rentals and they have a great ice cream place
Soft warm sand between my toes. No better way to get grounded and relax. Great place to meditate with headphones on a blanket. Happy people everywhere! Warm and yet the breeze off the water keeps me cool
Magnificent lake; very beautiful. Also it is close to so many fabulous restaurants and ice cream places which is amazing.
