Service was excellent. Staff at front desk were friendly and helpful. Vivian is excellent, very pleasant, always a chuckle or 2. She does a great job. Derrick is a great Dentist, I am very confident in his care, he always takes his time to ensure any questions or concerns are addressed. All the staff take the time to get to know you beyond just your teeth. I have been going to Okamura Dental for years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

I used to find dental visits painful and difficult, but since coming to Okamura Dental, I have 100% confidence in the work of Derek and his team. I really appreciate the detailed and gentle care. They take the time to treat me for my implant procedure and Derek and his hygienists make every effort to make the treatment painless as much as possible for me always. I came to Okamura on the advice of a friend who had a positive experience, and I would like to pass on that advice to you! I had a very pleasant experience as a new patient in the clinic. I originally was booked for several weeks out for my first appointment, but the front desk staff member Maciek was helpful and persistent in finding an earlier time for me to be seen. At my appointment, the hygienists Mariel and Vivien were thorough, careful, and informative in their care, explaining to me what they were doing and allowing me time to ask questions for clarification without having to talk through a mouthful of fingers/dental tools. Afterwards, I was seen by Dr. Derek who was personable and comprehensive in his assessment and consultation. He took time to understand the root of the challenges I had, my dental and orthodontic history, and my goals for treatment. We worked together to develop a treatment plan with clear next steps. I feel like I learned so much about dental care during this visit, and left feeling more capable of advocating for my dental health needs. I look forward to continuing to work with the team at Okamura Dental in the future, and the other partners in their network of care in Vancouver!

Best dental office in the city. Derek and Ivana are terrific and their staff are outstanding as well. You will never have an issue with the treatment, either during or after.
