This happened a while ago and I am still upset about it that I decided to write a review. But there is an asian lady who works there and she should not be working in a funeral home. I get that she does this on a daily so its normal for her but someone's death is not funny for one and never say ok let's get down to business when helping to plan a funeral for some who just past away only a day ago. What is the matter with you? And dont be singling out siblings that will cause a rivalry. Once again what is wrong with you? When there was supposed to be a one on one moment with with the deceased for each family member you dont disrespect one of them by keeping the door open to watch but closing the door for everyone else have some respect. Disgraceful place. I suggest either getting another person or just go to another funeral home.
My family recently used Ogden Funeral home for 2 family members. Overall, their service and staff are very kind, patient and understanding. I’ve never done anything like this before. Funerals are very stressful and so I would recommend a check list of everything that needs to be done as it’s difficult to think during stressful and sad circumstances. Helpful suggestions were made by the staff and everything turned out very well. Special thank you to Hanna who was extremely kind and helpful.
First and foremost, thank you to the staff and especially our funeral director, Mr. Kwan, who was both very professional and sympathetic to the death of our family member. I've been here a few times before as a visitor many years ago for others and now as a grieving person and each time, the service was done exceptionally. The explained very well and proceedings went very smoothly and timely.nThe facilities were clean and the space for the visitation was wonderful. Having visited several funeral home, this one really felt comfortable with the lounge area, clean washrooms, friendly staff and open areas with lots of lighting.nPricewise, it is expensive... But that's every funeral home. Relative to others, it's competitive and reasonable... Though one can always hope it maybe could've been cheaper. Service to price, I thought the value was there.
