We were invited by our friends to have breakfast at this place. The first good impression was the decoration of the place, all themed around eggs, the star ingredient of this restaurant. The dishes are not abundant, but they are sufficient and delicious. You can tell the difference in the flavor of the eggs, which they grow themselves by feeding the chickens with flax seeds. The service is very friendly and the view of the bay completes the experience. Definitely a place we would return in a next visit to Vancouver.
What an amazing breakfast!nThough we had to wait half an hour to get a seat, it was so worth it!nOur first server was Enki. She was incredible. She was so friendly and gracious, and she answered all of our questions thoroughly. She left for a break, I assume, and was replaced by Skylar, who was just as friendly and conscientious.nThe food was excellent, and the atmosphere was bright, fun, and comfortable.nHighly recommend!
I dove headfirst into OEB, fueled by curiosity and a friend's invitation. My kitchen pedigree warned me: serving hordes isn't easy. Still, I expected more.nnThe highlight? Reuniting with my friend. That's where the excitement ended.nnI ordered a double espresso – twice. Both times, it arrived with a thud, abandoned on the table without so much as a nod or an offer of water. The service? Abysmal.nnBut I refused to let indifference ruin my day. The food? General. Reasonable. Uninspired.nnWill I return? Only by coercion.nnRecommendation? Approach with caution. If you crave uniqueness or a genuine breakfast experience, support struggling local eateries instead. They deserve your patronage.nnsoulless pit stop.

We noticed a great improvement in the service compared to how it was before.”nI recently visited OEB in Yaletown on a rainy Thanksgiving weekend, and despite the weather, we were lucky enough to get a table on their heated patio. The cozy atmosphere was perfect for a slower, laid-back brunch. I had the chia seed pudding, which was light and refreshing, while my friend ordered the eggs benny—both dishes were fantastic, with portions that felt just right. Over past visits, I’ve also tried their banana cream pie French toast, Holy Crab, and Croque Madame, and they’ve all been consistently delicious. OEB never disappoints, whether you’re in the mood for something sweet or savory. Highly recommend!
Brunch at OEB on the waterfront was next-level! I went for the lobster and shrimp crepe and every bite was this perfect mix of savory and indulgent that just hits all the right notes. The crepe itself was soft and packed with so much lobster and shrimp, it felt like a treat with every forkful. On a trusted recommendation I ordered some scallops on the side and omg they were cooked to absolute perfection – tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. I also had the iced con panna which was top notch! Plus, with that gorgeous view of the marina, it’s hard to imagine a better spot to start the day. Coming from Calgary we have OEB too but this is next level and my new must-visit brunch stop in Vancouver!
