They work with what they have, we always wish animals could have more space but sometimes that’s not possible. At that point all that matters is the care of the animals, and they seem to take care of them and give them the best life possible.

We come here often. Unfortunately the wolf, Apache, is no longer there. He was my highlight. However, the Arctic Fox and black bear are quite entertaining. Can pet and feed the goats and pigs. Cannot beat it for free.
One of my favorite places in Baraboo. The majority of the animals here are rescues, and they have been given nicely kept environments w a very caring staff. Could watch the prairie dogs for hours!
Small but great. Really great for little ones theres also a park right by with a big playground.
This was so awesome educational. I forsure will go back to do this again Abby and Laurie did a fabulous job!
Great and interactive zoo. Stopped by with family a d we were able to feed the goats and the donkey! Great

Small free Zoo kids enjoyed Worth swinging by if your in the area Wasn't to crazy busy when we stopped which is nice so kids can see the animals!
Fun little free zoo - it’s nice to be able to pet the animals even as an adult, plus a volunteer was walking around to answer questions. They also hope to get a new animal soon from Alaska to make up for the one that humanely passed away.
