Oceanside Hyperbaric provides true hyperbaric oxygen therapy in two 2-person steel multiplace chambers. The chambers are pressurized with air and a mask or hood tent is used to breathe 100% oxygen at pressure. We are located in beautiful Parksville, BC on Vancouver Island.

Ive been meaning to leave a review for quite some time, but I was busy literally bringing my body back to life. I am suffering severe toxiticy from implants and my systems crashed and weht into severe autonomic dysfunction dysautotomia mitocondria dysfunction carrying oxygen from blood to areas of body I muscle wasted down to 100 pounds Im “skinny “at 130 pounds at 5’7. I became imobile, hospitalized in both Nanaimo and Victoria in January, 16 ambulance rides including Advanced Life Support. I was getting written off by the doctors… my husband started bringing me to these HBOT sessions 3-4x a week and I literally began to come back to life Praise God, Im on home oxygen, but my cells and tissues just were not getting the oxygen it needed, my cells were too weak. Laying in HBOT and Don being there EVERY session and monitoring my very unique circumstance as with my autonomic dysfunction, its hypersensitive to pressure so we do ONLY the depths my body can withstand… but at even a shallow depth at 10ft it FLOODS your mitochondria and all your tissues the parts that I need to survive the past 2 weeks I stopped going I felt so alive again and gardening and oxygen off, but it became apparent I need the HBOT.. only because I still have the poison bags inside of me and doctors waiting for me to be prednisone-free to perform outside hospital.nThe HBOT has honestly been lifesaving for me, Don has been so compassionate with me and always so supportive and attentive to my fragile needs. Even when Im cured and wanting to lead a healthy life, Im STILL going in for sessions every so often just to keep my body infused with the breath of life God gave us… oxygen, life giving, healing, detoxing, regrnerating oxygen. Im so so very grateful to have this in our community. Thank you, Don. From the bottom of my heart.
Highly recommend as part of a post surgical recovery and rehabilitation program. My experiences with hyperbaric have been super positive , and I believe instrumental in a more rapid and complete healing. Having a paralyzed vocal cord wake upon exiting the chamber one day was a highlight for sure . Top notch facility , top shelf equipment. Thx Don and staff for the care and support. B.
Painful swollen lymphnodes is a symptom of my lymphoma which can be difficult to manage naturally. My husband had heard of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy HBOT helping with various ailments so we decided to give it a shot. I was a little nervous at my first session as I can be a bit claustrophobic, but I was pleasantly surprised that it felt quite spacious in there. It took me a couple sessions to find my groove as well - i.e. whether reading, watching TV, listening to music, meditating etc would help me feel my best - but once I did I could fully engulf myself into its healing. And it heals: HBOT has been an excellent tool in my toolkit to feeling the best I can with this disease. Thank you Don and team for making me feel comfortable, answering any questions I had, and helping me heal! I highly recommend Oceanside Hyperbaric.

We were first introduced to this method of treatment by our amazing team of surgeon Nick, specialist Torrence and wound care RNs Amy and Amanda at NRGH.nnIt seems Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is pretty amazing and yet grossly underated in the medical field. The closest hospital offering this treatment is in Vancouver, so we were really happy to hear about the private treatment offered in Parksville.nnThis team are caring and compassionate and don't bat an eyelid when hubby is grouchy. Highly recommend.
