One of the best places in Mississauga to go grocery shopping. Fruits & vegetables are always fresh and affordable. The fish market is amazing. If you're a seafood lover, that's the best place to go shopping.
I drop in once in a blue moon whenever I need some Asian veggies in a pinch. I have never had any issues with their veggies.nnBut my review is regarding their hot table / prepared food. It is a good deal for $8.99 which includes a hot & sour soup for a three option combo.nnI went with the chicken Shanghai noodles, spicy beef with onions and veggie combo with shrimp.nnThe portions were generous and the Shanghai noodles were surprisingly fantastic. Maybe I wasn't expecting too much at a hot table type of cuisine. The flavour was spot on, you can taste the dark soy and oyster sauce. It was enjoyable. The beef and the shrimps were also hitting their flavour profiles.nnI can see why their hot food options are so popular here. And for good reasons which are apparent to me now.
I'm a regular customer there. Today a new security over there was making a scene by calling other securities from shoppers world to check my bag . Guess what...nothing found from rather than things that I paid for. Poor guy, I think he wanted respect and attention as much as cop. He doesn't even respect customers. While I asked him why the hell are you checking my bag he is hitting on the wall in an aggressive manner like he wants to hurt me physically saying it's shop's rule. Little did he know there are the other shops in the mall which have same rule. stupid guy
Make sure you know what you want when you go here. I mean, when asking for help finding items, you'll either snap back or realize it's not worth it. I understand there's a language barrier with some of the employees on the floor, but there should be at least an ounce of class and respect when giving assistance. Cashiers are fine. Various foods, but the atmosphere seems a little dingy. Sorry, just being honest.
Incredible selection of ethnic foods from around the world. Many items on the shelf I've never seen before. Ingredients to cook any known cuisine, and hot and cold ready to eat food as well.
