The food was delicious and our plate was an absolute art. The server was friendly, caring and informative. Desert was outstanding and the whole package gives you a fine dining experience which worth the high price. My only recommendation is to make sure you get a table outside if it is sunny or at least a table with view.
10 out of 10 for food and scenery! You must try seafood pasta, risotto and beet salad. I love them all and the stake are pretty good as well. This restaurant is suitable for date night dinner or special occasions. The view is insane and romantic. Service is good too.
We came to Ocean 7 for a fancier dinner, but ended up in the bistro because the wait times were shorter. It was very nice to be able to sit by the firepits while we waited for our table. Highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time on their website. The service is a bit slow, as I think the kitchen also makes room service meals. We shared the mussels, soy ginger pork belly, and humboldt squid for the table and they were all very lovely. For dinner, I had the sausage platter and it came with a medley of pickled vegetables. Overall, a beautiful view to enjoy our meals!
My wife, I, and our son and daughter-in-law were treated to dinner last night inthe Ocean 7 Restaurant at the Kingfisher Resort & Spa. Dinner was served in a dome outside, a feature of the restaurant in winter. pictured below Our meals were superb. I had a deconstructed Caesar salad with prosciutto, caper berries and roasted garlic. Just the right amount of tasty dressing. For a main I had a 7oz. tenderloin which was one of the best I have ever had. A minimal amount of sauce made the flavour exquisite. Accompanying were a few well cooked vegetables and potatoes in a small square much like Potatoes Anna. My wife's mushroom ravioli was of equal caliber. Our server Kimberley knew just how to space the meal out so we never felt rushed or that we had an excessive wait. Her attention to detail and to us was perfect. If you want a memorable meal I cannot recommend the Ocean Restaurant enough.
The appetizers here are all delicious, but if you come for dinner service, don't expect to be stuffed, but definitely be ready for an experience. The two times I have come, the dinner entrées have intrigued and stimulated my senses and made me actually THINK about the food I'm eating. It was just so... Interesting and intricate. It is always so fun to try their new dishes.

The Green Curry mussels are probably one of the best mussel preps I've had ever. The curry is nicely balanced between flavor, heat and sweetness. The pickled vegetables add a nice contrast without being overpowering. The mussels were also cleaned well. The sausage platter was delicious as well. Focus on in house preparation of the majority of ingredients is evident and I will certainly be coming back here some day to try more.
Stunning and unique. The food was beautifully presented, with a good selection of local items. We took part in the specialty menu that was being served in the domestic... expensive but so worth it. The grounds are breathtaking.Food: 5/5
We ate from here 3 times during our time at Kingfisher! The first was at the Bistro for dinner which had quick and friendly service and I enjoyed the fish and chips! The second time was for a fancy lunch at the Ocean 7! Reservations were very recommended, and despite my lack of getting one for dinner, we had a relaxing ocean side meal! Very excellent service and while the steak sandwich was mostly just a steak on top of bread, it was delicious anyways. Our 3rd meal was their room service delivery which took a bit to get set up, but was delightful nonetheless. The room service menu is also the Bistro menu if I recall correctly. Overall, a convenient and delicious restaurant to visit at the resort with something for everyone!
We had time for both brunch and dinner here. Don’t be fooled, Ocean 7 and Aqua Bistro are the same place just different menus. We learned the hard way that reservations were critical. So if you want to enjoy fantastic drinks, amazing views, and delicious seafood, then book a reservation!
