I've been coming to this club for the last dozen years and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. It's bright, clean and all the other members are respectful and easy to get along with - I almost never have to wait to use the equipment. Elda, the manager, is very friendly and attentively seeking to do what she can to accommodate her guests. Angelle, who has been working there before I joined up is a great asset to this fine establishment. I would highly recommend this club to anyone who is looking for a great place to workout! Basketball court, squash court, sauna, swimming pool, boxing ring, ping pong table, women's club, and all kinds of classes are some of the extra activities also available.
Ever since I came to National Fitness, It's been a great experience meeting, new people, working out, having fun here. When I'm about to enter the gym, I always feel like I'm welcomed and part of a big, happy family. The people working at the front desk are always friendly and nice. As well as the other staff members and trainers, their very courteous and helpful. Also, this place offers so many cool amenities such as a 25 yard pool, spacious gyms for both men & women, treadmills equipped with TV monitors, dumbbells, and other numerous gym equipment. Furthermore, the place offers a racquetball & squash rooms, boxing bags, even a child daycare service in the morning. Besides that, the environment here is very mellow and pristine. Plus, prices are reasonable here. Overall, this is a great fitness gym that i thoroughly enjoyed; definitely worth the time and money coming here. I personally would recommend to family and friends.
I have been going to this gym for over 3 years now and love it. The classes and instructors are absolutely excellent! Some of the equipment is dated but it does the job. They have several treadmills and multiple useful types of equipment for a great workout. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The membership price is right as I have price compared to other local gyms and other memberships are over double the price! If you are not looking for all the extra frills and fluffiness, then this gym is for you! It offers excellent classes, good equipment, and has a nice large area to workout in. I would absolutely recommend this gym!!
I've been at this gym for about 6 months now, and right off the bat I felt at home. Every single person, whether that's an employee or a customer are so incredibly friendly and personable! There's a women's centre available which is fully worth the little extra cost, and I basically live there at this point. Always clean, so many machines available I've personally never had to wait for one, and the pool is clean and quiet. Highly recommend, as I've said to all my friends! -Frankie :
Moved to Toronto for a work for one year and joined the club for having several racquetball courts. Best decision I made as the staff were fantastic and the exisitng racquetball players at the club were skilled and friendly making my time in Oakville enjoyable. It's an older facility but the equipment and the courts were in great shape. The club members were great. I miss playing on Wednesdays and Sundays.
I've been a member of this gym for over 5 years now and it is an overall great environment. The gym offers an excellent women's section and the gym is never overcrowded that you have to wait for machines or equipment. Very friendly staff and gym members and i recommend this gym to anyone looking to improve on their fitness as it offers classes, boxing, basketball, squash/racquetball and personal training.
I have been a member at this Gym for 2 years now. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel welcome. The gym equipment is pretty standard but reliable which is important to me. The swimming pool is quite nice. I personally like this Gym, no complaints!
National Fitness is the best fitness facility in the Oakville and surrounding area. The extensive variety of active physical endeavours is just amazing!! From vast multiple lines of exercise equipment and free weights, to a fabulously appointed Aerobic Room, Cardio Room. A Women's only gym training area, to racquet sports, and a Pool!! Yes a pool! Well appointed change rooms,individual showers, steam rooms. The Gym membership is a wide age demographic that is welcoming and helpful to the most personal set of aims with Certified Trainers and a caring genuine Staff. Owner Elda Waters has produced a Gem of a Centre that provides goal oriented and motivated assistance to all members. This is a Great Gym. I Love it!!!
Oakville National Fitness is a clean, bright and a well taken care of workout facility. Very family friendly with kids swimming programs and fitness for all. The machines work and if they need repair someone takes care of it. The steam rooms are a nice change from the dry sauna at Goodlife. I recommend Oakville National Fitness.
I have been going to this gym since the spring and am always greeted by a friendly staff. I have been to other gyms and I have always found staff to be pushy and it was always about the dollar sign. Personal trainers would quit and you would be stuck in a contract you couldn't get out of and starting from scratch everytime. I came here and have never been happier with a personal trainer. I have had many throughout the years and my trainer, Tracey, has by far shown me the most results. Her knowledge and skills push me to be the best I can. With affordable memberships and competitive personal training packages, this gym gives me the most for my dollar. If you are looking for an affordable gym with knowledgable personal trainers, this is the place for you.
