The station is clean and has plenty of signs showing where to go, easy to find. GO Buses and Oakville's own bus system is available to navigate throughout Oakville, with plenty of stops available. Lots of parking available for cars. Benches available at the bus platforms as well as the train platforms for those waiting for their rides.
Cleaned and well maintained. Lots of signage showing you where everything is and there is no shortage of parking here.nnMy only criticism is there aren’t enough bench seats at the bus terminals but other than that I don’t have a complaint.nnAs far as trains are concerned Go Trains, Via Trains and Amtrak Maple Leaf stop here so there’s no shortage of transportation access here.
The best station on the Lakeshore West line as it has lots of parking, right off the highway and has the most trips from Union Station. There is one food service station in the station. There are many restaurants across the street. This station is also the main station for Town buses and there are connections from this station north to the 407 GO Station.
Avoid at all costs if you are driving there. Very bad design for traffic flow. We were still in the pick up lanes and the next train arrived at the station. It's typical for GO stations to have straight pick up lanes rather than roundabout pick up lanes, which is a really bad idea. This location tops the worst from all GO stations I've been before in terms of traffic. I've checked and at the time when I was stuck in the pick up lanes it was faster to go Bronte station and come back.
I needed to take a train back into Toronto on the weekend. Seems quiet. I think regular weekdays will be a different experience. There are announcements that masks are still required. There are also shelters to protect commuters from the elements. Pretty useful. I used to ride from another GO station that didn't have shelters. Cold to say the least.
