Oakville GO Station is clean, well-maintained, and efficiently run. Trains are generally on time, and the station staff is helpful when needed. There’s ample parking, decent shelter in bad weather, and easy connections to buses. Whether you’re commuting to Toronto or heading west, it’s one of the better GO stations in the region. Just wish the coffee options were better!
The driver's service attitude is very good, and there are many station staff.
Its actually mind blowing how bad this company is and the degree to which they lack understanding public transportation logistics let alone basic common sense. Its canada day and where atleast 1 bus per area should be running until atleast 11-12am. But the last bus is 7.40pm........... Are you kidding me? Absolute company. Its really no surprise that oakville go is not only the worst rated transit system in canada. But one of the worst rated in all of North America. Ridiculous levels of Incompetence.
There are station staff present at night, which makes it feel very safe.
Today, I took Bus 10 to Oakville GO. Before I could tap my card, the bus driver started driving. I thought it was okay, so I went ahead and tapped my card. While the bus was moving and turning, I was trying to find a seat, but I lost balance and hit my shoulder on a pole. It hurt a lot.nnThe driver was also very rude. I asked him something, and he completely ignored me. He even gave me a really mean look, even though I hadn’t done anything wrong.
