This place was mediocre to say the least. We visited as apart of a graduation ceremony and we were somewhat impressed by this conference centre. The inside lack decor and without the fancy chandelier, the tables with the okay center pieces of flowers and some dismal stands of black and gold balloons, it wasn't much to admire. We've seen more decor in this same venue after scrolling through other reviews.nnThe ceremony was run well without any interruptions but after that we were dissatisfied by the service from the staff. They would come and go just doing their tasks, however there was some instances that were not acceptable. When the pasta appetizers and chicken dinner was being served, the servers had this random distribution where some tables got food way before others. We were one of these delayed tables and one of the members at our table did not receive her food and is also diabetic. We had to ask the employee at the very small and minimal bar window to have the dish delivered to the table. This made the experience even more unpleasant. Not to mention how uncomfortable the chairs were, we could barely sit for the majority of the ceremony.nnThe food was good. The pasta appetizer was alright, but the stuffed chicken was delicious, so that was one element that went well. Other then that, it was a very basic time at this centre that could've been improved. Instead, it was just...alright.
My brother had his wedding Sept 2024 and OCC made their vision come to life! Extremely accommodating staff and amazing food! 10/10 recommend
I had both my bridal shower and wedding reception at OCC this summer and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We worked with both Zorka and Heba, who were absolutely fantastic. Both were so easy to communicate with, and offered lots of guidance and knowledge. Not only were they extremely professional, but also very kind, friendly and patient. They made the entire process easy and stress-free.nnThe hall was beautiful, everything logistics-wise was smooth and on both days, everything was run so well that I was able to sit back and enjoy myself. For both events, the food was delicious and we had so many guests say how much they enjoyed their meals! We also had Sam there the night of the wedding, who was so helpful and kind.nnBoth the wedding and shower were everything I could have ever dreamed of and I'm so grateful we were able to celebrate such special moments here. Cannot recommend enough!
Recently there was a wedding and reception arrangement done at this Banquet.The place is now under new ownership with the employees having no idea how to cook or serve .nThe food was absolutely worse with vegetable being either under cooked or tasteless. Bar was very small and instead of having an experienced person working at the bar they had a very slow person who was rude to the guest. There was a big line up for the drinks and when asked to open the other small bar , they had no bar tender to work. This place is total disaster and not worth the price or value .Manager on duty could not even handle the situation and the employees were absolutely not trained well.
It was OK .. I went there for an event.nIt was clean and fairly easy to get to; however, for an out-of-towner, signage would have been better - although I do understand this is the domain of the event organizer more so than the venue provider.nThe event was not catered, so I can not speak to food or service; nor did I find it necessary to utilize the essential plumbing whilst there, so I can't speak to that either.
