Oakland Community College - Orchard Ridge Campus

Mostly a good campus, but when the gym building was under construction, they did not alert the students who were signed up for fitness classes. Instead they stuck us in an attic for an entire semester forcing us to work out using jump ropes, weights, and whatever else you wanted to do on the mat (push ups, sit ups, ect.) No jogging outside allowed, despite it being summer. Not a pleasant experience. Another occasion, they cancelled my class due to low enrollment, sending an email to students only 5 days before class begins. I did not see this email until the day-of.

Very unprofessional. Everyone has an attitude and the financial aid office never has your documents that you've completed. They claim they "lost it" or "never got it" and of course it's run by students, so that also doesn't help at all.

This campus in particular has all the warmth of Auschwitz, just really bleak looking. Classes were good, though.

For this to be a Community College it's definitely expressive, they recently doubled tuition, which completely defeats the purpose of why people go to community colleges in the first place.
