I love this place! Arthur and his wife are so so kind. I wanted an assortment in my sandwich and they put in anything I wanted and even let me taste some of the deli while I was waiting. The bun also had cheese on top I also got a side of fries which looked pretty average but they were SO fresh, perfectly salted and tasty.
I decided to check out this place in an effort to try new restaurants in the neighbourhood. I read the reviews beforehand and they were really positive, which was encouraging. But, you never know with Google reviews these days! So, I went in and gave it a try. And holy moly, it was pretty good even for a non sub sandwich person like me. I got the roast beef sandwich and I loved how fresh the bread and veggies were not like subway where everything somehow tastes the same. The shop is tucked in the middle of a neighbourhood, and is quaint, but surprisingly busy which speaks to how good the food is. And it may be family run. Overall, really good place for a quick fresh tasty lunch. Think I may have just found my new lunch spot!
Delicious food, friendly staff! I’ve been stopping in for some time now at Oak Park, have tried their home burger, chicken sandwich, Italian sandwich, western sand ice, poutine, spaghetti with meat sauce, lasagna, chicken and pork souvlaki on a pita, and their pizza - including the must try “Arthur Special”. It’s all amazing! Super fresh, and homemade with good ingredients. Their sandwiches are made on a house baked cheese bread. They also have a great selection of sweets, like cupcakes, cookies and squares. Fantastic place, so glad to have found it!
I love their sandwiches. THAT BREAD THO!!! Doughy/chewy/cheesy perfect deli sandwich bread. The lady that runs it is super nice and keeps everything clean and organized. Don’t really crave sandwiches, but when I do, it’s this place! Fav order - turkey deli and the hot beef sandwich.
This is a local gem. If you live in the Oak Park-Lumsden area you know it. They’re great. Great pizza, great sandwiches on really great cheese buns made in store great poutine, and also great Greek options pro tip, order the Greek style fries. If you’re a neighbour and you’ve been wondering, check it out. Even if you’re not a neighbour, stop in. They also have a location at Coxwell and Cosburn East York Deli.
Can't get enough of the poutine. You know when you eat something so fast that it hurts going down... but you can't slow down cause it tastes so good? Yeah, that.
These guys are my favorite. There is really no reason to ever get anything elsewhere. Unless it's sushi or something very specific. Excellent quality food, people and fair prices. A neighborhood gem! Arthur and Tula are wonderful people.
Outstanding... everything we have ordered is exceptional. Arthur pizza, in particular, is amazing!
Incredible deli sandwiches and even better team behind the counter. Amazing value, can't think of anywhere else you can get lunch for under $10. Top spot in the area!
Decided to go give this place a try as I was told their pizzas pretty good. Nice small little deli the pizza was okay they use frozen crust and top it and throw it in the oven, good customer service clean place one of those hidden delis in the beaches area.
