Delicious food, fast, friendly service, nice decor. Loved the Reuben soup l, Guinness stew and fish and chips. Guinness on tap. A little expensive but not really out of line and well worth it. Recommended.
On the way to catch a train in Chicago, and stopped for lunch at O'Riley & Conway's Irish Pub in Janesville. I went with the classic Bangers and Mash, with a side of cranberry slaw. Washed it all down with a Guinness on tap. The sausage bangers were good and the mashed potatoes tasted great and had a nice flavor. Probably the second best bangers and mash I have had. The cranberry slaw was delicious as well. It had a nice mix of flavors, blending the sweetness of the cranberries with the bitterness of the vinegar. The waitress was very friendly and the service was fast. Overall I enjoyed my experience here, and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who happens to be in Janesville and wants to experience a nice Irish Pub.
If you're looking for the best reuben in town here it is. I've had one at other places and they're not as good, even with comparable prices. The bar has wonderful atmosphere and other great food as well. Fries are also some of my favorite. This time I went I actually forgot how good they were. This is a great location downtown. Their hours have them closed some days during the week I'd actually like to go, but it's still a nice place with awesome food
Came here for breakfast - amazing, very authentic interior with two bars and a warren of different seating areas. Food alas was stodgy but perhaps dinner fare is better. Would definitely come again for a drink.Food: 3/5
Great atmosphere, good waitress. All 8 of us got unsatisfactory food, all mashed potatoes were cold, even the second time they "warmed" them up. Prime rib was tough as shoe leather, and scallops were barely warm at all. Very poor !Food: 1/5
We both had the Sheppard pie and it was delicious. Our server was very nice and cheerful. Such a nice decor that was unique as an irish pub. We had a nice somewhat secluded area to ourselves. Looking forward to trying more dishes here.Food: 5/5
Fish was good. Service AWFUL! The waitress dropped off food and then never came back. I had to wave my arms in the air around for quite some time for her to notice and then finally came over after we were already done eating. And then we had to have another waitress get her to come back to get our check. And it was not really even busy.
Amazing food! We had the Fish-n-Chips, Rueben soup, and Ruben egg rolls. All wonderful. They also had live music on a Saturday night. Atmosphere, music, and food A+
It was a nice place with live music on a Saturday night. The food was good but service a bit slow. I think they were short handed like most places. I would go again.Food: 5/5
Family is currently seated at a table. We've been sitting for over 20 mins, no water, no server and no employees paying any attention. There's a table next to us, the same issue. I wanted to walk out, but my family won't let me. We won't be back!
