We camp here a lot. The campers here are a bunch of good people. The place has been let go a lot, but there are new owners now and they started cleaning the place up. If their trend continues, I will give a better rating next year. Their seasonal rates are good, their daily rates are quite high. The water park is amazing for kids. They need to improve the land park to make this place a great family campground.

This is one of my favorite places or all time. I've spent thirty years coming here, growing up and watching my kids grow up. They've enjoyed it as much as I have Now for the reason I give it only there stars... This has always been a family park where everyone pretty much know everyone else. The park maintenance had never been perfect but it was a campground and we expected it. Visiting lately though, the standards have went down, the outhouse at the beach was disgusting and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The main bathrooms were dirtier than I've ever seen them. The beach looks worse than ever, I understand there has been a lot of rain but the play area needs new sand dumped. Many lifelong campers are pulling out because the prices have been jacked up and the new owners seem to be in it only to make a profit, which is a huge shame. This is a beautiful area with a fantastic lake. If the owners would just take better care of the amenities and try to make it enjoyable again, it would get back to its full glory. The waterpark it's a lot of fun and reasonably priced, at $5 a day per user, it's an inexpensive way to entertain for a low price. They inflatables needed to be re-inflated and need to be cleaned. But they are one good thing about the 'new' campground. Hopefully the owners learn from this season and improve on what they've started.

Washrooms were gross, wife got stuck in bathroom at 6am in morning until another camper came along and let her out. Both men's and women's had broken locking door knobs. I had 6 25$ waterpark passes and was made to pay 5$ rental fees even know the waterpark pass is 20$ a person. This was a rip-off and the life jackets did not have under straps to prevent them from coming off young children. They had no certifications, just made in china and Chinese writing. The kids pools had no circulation and algae growing in both. The swim to the inflatable play area was through plenty of seaweed, and the beach wasn't maintained and washed out. Plenty of long grass and mucky areas like the slide area. This place charges 80$ a night plus 25 a person for so called waterpark. Do yourself a favor and go to a KOA or cedar park resort and steer clear of this place. There are even old deserted trailers here due to the new owners.
