I've been to O-Ramen several times now. I love their vegan ramen!! You can really tell that the noodles are handmade and the broth is excellent! For covid, they added this cute little outside eating area, and we really enjoyed sitting out front last time we visited :
WOW. Not what you might associate with ramen! So many crazy delicious unique choices. Went for the spicy miso bowl with pickled eggs and pickled beets in a savory miso broth. Service super attentive, 100 100 100!
Presentation is beautiful. Flavor and ingredient combinations are questionable. I had garbanzo beans in my vegan soup and I wasn't a fan of it. Broth is lacking flavor with the only real redeeming quality being the noodles.
We ordered two of the ramen dishes and while they had a lot of great flavor, the salt level was off the charts. My mouth was stinging and I had to balance the dish with at least a quart of water. If they'd reduce their salt I'd definitely try again. Given how great their ingredients are, I doubt they need much salt.
Great, filling food at a good price. Comparable to Ramen I've had at some great places in Portland! The pork-bone broth for the Tonkotsu was fantastic, fatty and rich. Nice selection of import Japanese beer as well. Worth a visit!
This was my first experience with ramen and I’m afraid it won’t be topped. While they didn’t have gluten free noodles due to a backorderthanks Suez Canal they did sub rice and it was delicious. I’ll definitely be back!
Not the cheapest ramen I've ever had, but definitely some of the best. The pork is soo tender it just falls apart, and the spiced egg felt like it actually belongs there unlike most others I've tried. Ps. Try their rose cider, Fantastic.
