Excellent halibut! I love this pub! I first came in here back in 2000 and I've been coming in ever since. I've spent a great deal of time in the UK and I feel this is the most authentic Irish/British pub I've been to in North America. The beer selection is always good and the food is top shelf. The service is great too, you can't go wrong in here.
Decided to try the spicy crispy mac and cheese.The portion size was filling and the spice had a good amount of heat. Also tried the chocolate mousse dessert which was smooth and creamy. Recommend going during the St. Patrick’s weekend to enjoy a green beer!
In my opinion this is the best place for Halibut and Chips in the city. Largest portion you’ll ever get and always light and crisp. Came for a family get together with several guests at a busy time on a Friday night and the service was fast and efficient. The wait staff are great, the food is always great. Highly recommend.
Made the pilgrimage from Chatham to come to the Kildare house for my wife's birthday.nWe got the appetizer trio, and both got the halibut and chips.nnThe apps were very good but I can't emphasize how big the serving of fish was!nnLook at those pictures! The fries are under the fish and are fantastic in their own right.nnI would highly highly highly recommend you choose the Kildare house for your next fish and chips hankering!
Food was great, atmosphere is authentic and our service was fantastic! Kristey was so pleasant , friendly and smiling always. We really felt we were being taken care of with appropriate check ins throughout our dinner. Thank you :
