I always pick this place as my birthday dinner because the food never disappoints. I've tried multiple things on the menu over the past few visits and I've loved all of them. We always start with the pretzels and cheese dip as an appetizer, because the cheese is just so fantastic. The boxties are amazing, the mac and cheese with pulled pork is amazing, fish and chips are amazing, everything that's part of the holy trinity is amazing...seriously, I've always loved whatever I've ordered here. You also have to try the crack fries! The brownie and bread pudding desserts are also great, and Tyler is an awesome waiter! :
I came out on a day they the head chef was off. The kitchen staff put together these incredible dishes. It is great to know that the staff can prepare wonderful dishes in the absence of the head chef. The quality of their food is outstanding! Shout out to Alyssa and Stephanie, floor managers for their assistance. They are both very friendly and helpful. I had the Pub Streak. So good. The gravy was very flavorful. This establishment has been a staple in Rochester Hills for 17 years and is one of the most popular hot spots here. I can see why. Friendly staff, plentiful libation choices and of course the food! I highly recommend and recommend all the dishes pictured in this review.
Stopped in here with my wife and we both ordered their Michigan salads. I went with the raspberry vinaigrette and she had a spicy ranch. We both enjoyed the salads and our waitress was amazing. The restaurant was extremely busy but our waitress was very attentative and the food and drinks came fast. My wife also had an Irish coffee that she really enjoyed. Prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant while visiting Rochester MI.
Beautiful place in downtown Rochester area. They also have outside dining area. Good collection of Irish beers, cocktails are a bit overpriced. Would recommend it for beers. There are also food options on the menu, haven't tried any! Vegetarian options: Fries, pizza etc.
The food was delicious. Had a wide variety of beer on tap. Our waitress always made herself available and was very friendly. We will definitely be back if we are in the area.Food: 5/5
Our waitress was lovely and the overall experience was great. The Irish Nachos were delicious, but I would reccomend getting them for a group of two or more people -- it's a lot for one person to eat. The Irish Bread Pudding was also good, and I would definitely reccomend it. Additionally, the place provides Gluten Free options, which also look very delicious. I had a wonderful time here. I cannot wait to visit O'Conner's again in the future. Vegetarian options: There was a lot of Gluten Free options in this place.
Great food, great energy, great service. Went on a Friday night and the place was packed with everyone vibing to the live music. We had the scotch egg and fresh chips for appetizers and the fish and chips, irish bacon boxty, and white wine mussels for the entree. Been here multiple times and never had a bad meal. It's definitely one of my favorite pubs in the area.
We went to the place on Sunday night.  The big draw would be the Irish music session which never happened and was the reason we tried the place.  It was a interesting designed place. This place did not have a specialty drink menu. I ordered a whiskey sour.  I forgot to say well whiskey.   I got Jameson's and it was good but can not judge the cost.  It was good. Later on, I ordered a hard Cider.    It was good but the only reason I knew about was a serving mat. The Irish Bacon Boxty by itself was good. It had some decent flavors. Cream sauce was good but not sure if I could the the whiskey.   It had amazing taste  One of the problems with the boxty was the veggies.  The limited squash and opinions were cooked great.  The sweet potato was horrible undercooked. The service was mixed overall.  The kitchen service was bad.   The time that it took to get our food was very slow.  It would not have been bad if the Irish music was playing.   The bar service was okay but mixed. He was not really helpful on choices. There were times we felt we were forgotten about. I am not sure if I would try this place again or not.
Amazing!!! So we decided to come here since it was a good midway point, and were blown away by how amazing. We really appreciated how awesome our waitress Tara was and how she made our situation better with some menu confusion. We got the mushroom boxty and mac n cheese, and some fries and mozzarella sticks. Everything was phenomenal- great portion sizes and very tasty. The boxty was great and the house made marinara for the mozz sticks was a nice surprise. Live music by a talented local artist was nice to listen to as we ate. Will definitely be coming back soon!
I visited two times. The food was delicious, fresh, good sized portions, and the staff was friendly and courteous. There is a draw/painting activity for children, which is a plus. And the place is really nice. I would recommend it for a family Saturday lunch :
