This was a terrible experience. DO NO COME HERE. I spent 20 minutes in the drive-through and there was only one other person there. The two people working there weren't even rushing to do anything. They were just standing there and talking. Not only was the service awful, but they also somehow managed to make the drinks completely wrong. It was disgusting and a waste of ten dollars. They obviously have no idea what proportions are because the macchiato I asked for was straight-up water. Ice cubes with a tiny hint of coffee. Not even. It was beyond terrible. Do not come here on Tuesdays at 5. This experience has made me never want to get coffee again. How do you mess up such a simple order?? Just pour in exactly what you are told. How on earth do you mess that up. I hate this place.
The coffee we ordered tasted good, the only thing that made the experience a three star one is simply the cleanliness of the place. The glass of the display case was filthy with smear stains and crumbs. The floors had debris along with sticky stains left throughout the store. The tables were not wiped down as they too had spills dried on the tables and the station where you get straws was dirty with dried residue as well. There was also a weird smell in the store, probably some kind of cleaning product somewhere or a warm machine, but it was not what you'd expect going into a coffee shop. Smelled no coffee or warm pastries like you would at every other Dunkin Donuts. The place was far too plain and wide with no real comfortable atmosphere to make you feel you're in a coffee shop, it gives the vibe of being more or less in a dirty hospital cafeteria. The baristas were pleasant enough, but seemed more focused on chatting to each other than keeping themselves busy. Two girls were working on stocking the display case while another made drinks as two others stood around chatting to the whole lot of them. While it is nice seeing a team have fun talking to each other, one of the others that were just standing around should have helped in either drinks, stocking, or cleaning the filthy cafe while they talked. It is doabl it works. Will I be back to this spot? No, it was too dirty, smelled gross, and way too loud with chatter from just them alone. Wasn't a warm, comfy place to get coffee so I'll keep going to my old location instead.
I hate leaving bad reviews. This is someone's business and livelihood. Still, I'm clearly not alone in my dissatisfaction with this location. What prompted my review is the strange taste cleaner? freezer burn? of their hot sandwiches. Thought it was a one off, but no. I now drive to East Granby to get sanwiches that don't taste bad if not dangerous. To the owner: Please try your own product. Is it something you would feed your kids? Let me know when the problem is fixed, and I'll try again.
The workers here are working hard to keep the line from spilling out into the road. This location needs more workers and higher salary! Great service considering conditions, thanks!
Came at 4 and doors are closed … wouldn’t let me in, Lazy workers. Bad location don’t go here
A year later, time to update the review. Why is this location consistently closed? Other DD locations along CT-10 are open. We went in today on Sunday at 2 PM. There is a sign in the lobby that cash is not accepted after 12 PM. Standing in the lobby, no offered to take our order. Yes, there order kiosks, but there nuances to an order that kiosks do not handle. Finally someone suggested we use the drive-thru, but there was a 5-car line from the window. As we were heading north anyway, we visited the DD in Granby by TJ Max. We were able to pay in cash and were greeted right away.
Drive thru for a hot tea. Service fast and politeFood: 4/5
Not managed well. Never know when this will happen - and it has happened more than once - the line is long, worse because the lobby is closed. This means can't go in to pickup on the go app order, have to wait in line. 20 minute wait to get through the drive-thru line. Then driving home, something we ordered is missing from the food. Don't have time to wait in the long drive thru line for another 15-20 minutes. And too many times to count the coffee is not made correctly. I had talked to corporate management about this location a couple of months ago. Problems are less frequent than they were - but still happening! A convenience coffee place should 1 be able to make the coffee you way you asked for it and 2 not take 15-20 minutes to get your order, especially when you are ordering to be able to grab and go!
Trash service like you don’t care about your customer service or what’s going on? Where is the people who is in charge, they don’t see this?
Friendly staff, hella-fast service.Food: 5/5
