We could be best described as full service Modern local's Diner with great locally roasted coffee by Rosso Coffee Roasters and now we have JusFruit Parkdale franchise as part of our restaurant so there are various bubble tea and smoothie options available. And unusual in a good way and quality menu. They have some very interesting things here. As well as the normal favorites for breakfast or lunch or dinner. Including a full bar and excellent lattes. You can sit outside on their patio Looking at the river, it's a great place. Lots of drink options to go and ice cream too. Parking: A few spaces in the gas station lot it shares and free 2 hr parking by the river go past the restaurant turn right.
Came in for breakfast with a friend. She was a little put off because of the location next to a petrol station But this place is a gem! We enjoyed our choice of breakfast and was just pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere inside and the patio seating outside. Will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
A great little place for brunch. Food was delicious, though not the quickest. With friends to chat with, that wasn’t a problem, but may be helpful for others in a hurry. We had a range of dishes and all enjoyed them. The British Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but the sausages delicious. The Avocado Truffle Benny was so good, as was the breakfast poutine.
We went for the high tea and it was such a great experience! We sat outside on the deck under the trees and enjoyed the heat and a breeze. The tea was great, the food was great, the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend checking it out for a nice afternoon outing.Food: 5/5
I had the chicken and brie. It was absolutely delicious. Really good bread and flavours. Though I think it could have used about 30% more chicken. The fries had excellent seasoning and cooked perfectly, though it was a bit heavy on the salt. We also enjoyed the cheesy Alfredo. It was thoroughly enjoyed.
I had combo breakfast, did not like the food at all, coffee was good. My friend had fried cauliflower, it was fried to chips. Untidy washroom. Location is great on the way to the park.Food: 2/5

This place is kind of a hidden gem. At first glance it’s the gas station but once you are inside it’s a cozy space with a beautiful patio view onto the river bank and park. The food is made fresh and portions are reasonable. The patio can fit a decent size family with more park benches outside. My only remake is the espresso is kind of sour
Really wanted to give Nove Nine more stars, because the one gentleman who worked there was great. Unfortunately this cannot be said for the entire team. Coffee is by Rosso and was delicious. I would go back to grab a coffee to take away. Breakfast was mediocre. I had the eggs Benny, and found the biscuit was hard, hollandaise was minimal, eggs were over cooked. One of the other meals we tried was the Royal English Breakfast. I had asked for tomato on the side twice and it did not arrive. The bacon was overcooked, but otherwise was a decent meal. We had a party of 5 today. 2 meals came out after a 20 minute wait, and the other 3 ordered arrived 10 minutes behind. After all 5 meals were served, a 6th meal of egg Benny was delivered that we didn't order. There were only a few people in the restaurant, so it didn't seem overly busy for the slow service and confusion in our orders.
Great little cafe a short walk from the Bow, friendly and fast service, right-sized portions of fresh and simple food had biscuits and scrambled eggs with some very tasty smashed and griddled potatoes, well-made latte. Patio had 6 inches of snow on it during my visit but hope to come back when it's a bit warmer out. Appears to be inside a petrol station but has plenty of cafe seating, parking in the lot and in the street riverside. Recommended!
