We are proud to offer products that are baked using only the best quality ingredients available and we make them exactly the same way that we have been making them since we opened our doors for the first time.
We are an artisan bakeshop specialized in hand-made, custom wedding cakes, sculpted, special occasion cakes and more. We are trained pastry chefs, decorators and bakers, dedicated to the art of classical baking and pastry arts.
Several years ago, in the late sixties, the Bon Ton was acquired by Alessandro Notte, the elder son, and Alain Notte, the youngest son. It was originally established at 874 Granville street, in Vancouver. Later on, by the year 2000, it became necessary moving the bakery to the new location at 3150 West Broadway (current). After one year in the new location, Alessandro Notte retired having his son, Alain O. Notte and a long-time employee, Giovanni Bizzuti, becoming partners in the bakery shop with Alain Notte.
Nowadays, the Bon Ton offers, in its lunch room, "Tarot card" reading and "Tea leaves" reading. Our pastry Chefs are proud to offer 28 varieties of pastries and many types of cakes, desserts, yeast goods, puff pastries and many more baked products using only the best quality ingredients. This is how it can be explained that the Notte's Bon Ton clientele has been loyal for so many decades.
