Story

Business started January 1, 1988
Merged with Norwood Electric (started in 1955)

History:
The Business started in 1955 in a small garage on the south side of town by James Grundahl - founder. Its propose was to give the best service at the best price. In 1958 it moved to a new location on Main street which now is called Elm. It remains at that location to this day.
Throughout the years the business grew, at one time employing 12 men doing large projects such as schools and large businesses. Still keeping that small town service. Around the mid sixty’s a decision was made to continue with a more personal business policy, maintaining four people. The service to the small customer remains, “take care of those people and they will take care of you” approach was the new policy, to this day that is the same.
On January 1, 1988, Norwood Electric Inc. was developed to bring in the “boys”. Paul worked in the former business all his life while Bill work at different locations for different people, rejoined the new formed company. In 1997 James past away. We miss him.
Vice Presidents Bill and Paul and one associate personnel.
Although small in number we have the expertise to accomplish even large projects.
Extensive knowledge in the Farming, Residential, Commercial and Customer Service areas as well as Electric Motors Sales and Service repairs.
