The Norwich Historical Society of Norwich, Vermont, is housed at the 1807 Lewis House on Main Street. It's mission is to preserve and interpret the history of the town and to foster a greater interest and respect for our shared heritage.
The Lewis House at 277 Main Street in Norwich, Vermont, opened as a museum and community center in 2003. It's three galleries offer a range of exhibits that seek to link Norwich's past and present. The facility may be used by local nonprofit organizations for meetings. The house and grounds make a lovely site for events of all kinds. Please inquire at: 802-649-0124. The NHS works closely with the nearby Marion Cross Elementary School on programs to engage students in local history.
