I was looking to set up a new business checking account recently. I did some research online then sent messages to three banks: my personal bank, the bank of the company I was purchasing, and Northway Bank, with whom we had recently refinanced our mortgage. Northway was the only one to respond. The manager contacted me by phone directly. We played tag for a couple hours and he was willing to fit me in the same day to get things taken care of. It was a Friday afternoon. There was a slight problem with getting the online portion of the account set up because of confusion with the online access from my mortgage account but the lead teller solved the problem in a timely manner. Between our experience with the personal mortgage refinancing and getting my business checking and credit card accounts, I have no issue with recommending them. Thank you.
