I moved to the community 1 year ago. Have dealt with different hospitals and find NHH is exceptional! Very friendly and professional staff throughout the entire building. Have had tests done, been in emerge a few times with husband, mother and myself and have never had an issue! Even the triage staff have been friendly and courteous unlike some hospitals! The wait time is a bit long but that's what happens when there is a shortage of doctors out there.

No sense of urgency whatsoever. Sitting in the waiting room with my pregnant girlfriend trying to convince the staff that we need to see a doctor as we think she is losing the baby. The nurse agreed that we had a time sensitive case and then told me i would have to wait like everyone else. Been here almost two hours with bleeding and pain. Real compassion showed by a bunch of "angel of death" nurses who are literally too busy counting change from the parking machine to help sick people.

I had to stay here for a week and they were really nice. the emergency room isnt great and sometimes theres a long wait, but i think that's probably more the fault of the ontario health system than the staff. much better than the Kingston hospital.

Still waiting in the emergency room, though apparently some people get good service: 4 or 5 individuals who arrived after me have been treated.
