Northstar Link Park and Ride

The Northstar Link is a good system to connect St. Cloud to the Northstar train in Big Lake. The buses are comfortable. The drivers polite. However, there is invariably a group of passengers in St. Cloud that make the trip depressing because of their behavior: blocking the aisle while loading because, despite using the bus often, they do not have $2 ready, or have it at all, making others wait, etc.. Yesterday, one simply refused to pay. The driver was elderly, did not take charge and maintain standards. So, the slouchy behavior pays off and continues. Also, the driver did not check the side luggage compartment door to make sure it was closed before taking off. I had to remind him. This has happened before. The bus system is good, affordable, on schedule. But, for me, the behaviors are deeply disturbing. Very depressing. Mary Fedyszyn
