Northside Park

This is a great park. There's a nice lake, walking paths, bathrooms, work out areas, Sport fields, playground, hill for sledding, docks at the lake. I absolutely adore it, such a beautiful park. Playground: Always seems clean and neat, there's even a workout area right next to it. Restrooms: There's some pretty good public restrooms here, it's really nice in the winter because they open up this building. Its heated and they usually put on a fire and even have hot chocolate inside! Dog-friendliness: I see people walking their dogs here every day and I believe there's even doggie bags along some of the park paths. Picnic area: There's loads of places to have picnics here, its a beautiful park. Whether you want a table under the awning or just outside in the sun, or on top of the hill!

This is the best park I have been too. Just moved right next to it. Love it

Great park near downtown Wheaton. You can make a trip out of it, trails to talk around the lake, large park, pool, pond, tennis courts, and a huge hill sledding in the winter!… so much fun!

It's a very pretty and well maintained park. Really nice playground, ball diamond and right across from a pool. I come here to fish. Early morning and late evenings are the most enjoyable for me because there is less noise from the children. There is also a nice gravel paths that go all the way around the pond

This is a lovely park with a lot of cool and unexpected features like a sled hill, outdoor workout equipment, bridges, tennis/pickleball courts, small zip line for kids, log cabins, etc. A great place to go for a run or walk along a gravel path. Great views from the top of the sled hill. Can't wait to go back!

The only thing that makes this park less than perfect is the people. Besides me and my kids, I haven’t seen anyone else wear a mask and no social distancing. So, you take that info however you want. The equipment is great. It’s new and there are a lot of things to play on. The ground is covered in a padding that is covered by AstroTurf. Good walking area and lots of picnic tables. My kids thought the best part of the park was the zip line. They also have some exercise equipment on an area right off the walking path. There is a baseball field, but no basketball court. So there is a bell on the equipment and there seems to be a perpetual stream of kids ringing the bell. Maybe bring your headphones???

Nice trails around numerous lakes and plenty of docks for fishing.

My kids were so excited to discover this park! LOVE the soft turf ground. So many fun slides and climbing elements. Cute little sand area as well. Zip line and a big parking lot!

I absolutely love this park. They have a lot of fun things for kids, and also for adults. It's a really nice spot to check out Playground: A fantastic playground

Nice family-oriented place with a Toboggan Hill really enjoyed it Lake looks big enough to kayak in hopefully there's some fish
