Julian is the best, he made my car buying experience a smooth one. He ensure that I was comfortable, making my decision was easy based on his knowledge and guidance throughout the process. Thank you Julian...I am enjoying my Kia Seltos which I named Lady Blue....
Bought a 2025 Kia K4 late February 2025, Robert the salesman was great to deal with. I travel a lot for work around 80-100,000km a year. Plan with vehicle was to trade it in in two years upgrade into new and repeat I told him as long as service was good on dealership end and service dept end I would more than likely be a repeat and loyal customer. First two oil changes I’ve had done at other dealerships as I was located closer to them at the time with work, booked in and oil changed promptly, I’ve had one warrenty claim which I’ve specifically taken to northland Kia to give them the service work and my first and last oil change with them ever today. I was booked for 2:00 ended up being early and said I could come back and Crystal the service advisor told me it wouldn’t be ready till 5 or 6 anyways, I asked about my booking and was told that just to get it in. I’m 3 hours from the city and we had commitments booked and I said that wouldn’t work and she basically told take it or leave it, I work in a relationship role with customers on a daily basis and found it quite crude how she addressed me. I went around to talk to Robert who I had purchased from and found out he doesn’t work there anymore, which sucks because it looks like he’s had some solid reviews. I talked to a fellow and explained to him the situation and he went and talked to the service manager who agreed to get me in sooner, all good. Dropped my significant other off at her appointment and went over to South center mall to kill sometime before picking her up and heading on our trip home. Noticed a puddle of oil under vehicle and very excessive oil coming out of oil filter cartridge canister, phoned and said what was going on this was after service hours and was told nothing they could do about it call Kia care and get it towed. This is very very clear that they just did a quick oil change without following what I think procedure would be, charged dearly for it and punted the car out the door. Isn’t it standard procedure to change oil run vehicle check oil level and check for leaks? If they did this it wasn’t going unnoticed. I’m glad I caught it at 47km traveled instead the 300km trip home or else it would probably been a smoked engine. If I could give them negative stars I would, I took it to the dealership to protect my warranty, totally capable of changing my oil myself I have numerous other vehicles, tractors, semis etc which I do all my own servicing on. On a different note 5 star review for Mr.Lube on McLeod Trail South for getting me in right before closing fixing Northland Kia’s negligence and making it so we could commute home tonight vs dealing with a stranded vehicle and getting a rental car in the city hours from home.
Today I’d like to share my first service experience. I’ll admit I can be a bit of a difficult customer—I had booked for 10:00 a.m. but arrived late due to a family matter. On top of that, my car had some minor mechanical issues, yet the service representative was still very patient in answering all my questions. They quickly helped me with the registration process, and once I entered the lobby, a staff member kindly asked if I’d like a coffee and a muffin. I found that very thoughtful. Overall, the whole experience was smooth and pleasant.
Jho at Northland Kia was awesome to work with. He was super helpful, easy to talk to, and made the whole process really smooth. He answered all my questions and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. Great customer service — I’d definitely recommend asking for Jho if you’re buying a car here!
Excellent service from J.B., Julian and Vinh. Test drove one used electric vehicle twice and asked 1,000 questions. Julian has fantastic knowledge about EVs and he explained the features of the car thoroughly. Though the car was not a match for us this time, we recommend working with J.B., Julian and Vince when you are looking for an Kia.
