Northern Health Centers, Inc. is a “CHC” (Community Health Center). As such we provide primary and preventative medical, dental, and behavioral care.

Story

QUALITY HEALTH CARE FROM COMPASSIONATE PEOPLE

• 1978 – Began as a satellite of Community Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls by remodeling the Loyal Forest Grade School.

• 1986 – Obtained independent non-profit status. Obtained Federal Funding as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).

• 1995 – Elementary school demolished and a new, state-of-the-art, 5000+ square-foot clinic was constructed.

• 2000 – A 4000-square-foot building expansion project doubled the size of the facility to meet the ongoing increased demand for services.

• 2009-10 – Again to meet increasing demand, Federal Stimulus Funding supported the construction of a nearly 2,000-square-foot addition and 8,560 square-foot renovation.
